I have a 30 year background as a school principal and bring to the advisory role an extensive range of skills from that background. In particular I enjoy engaging with people from all walks of life, not only supporting them to save money on their insurances but to ensure they can afford it over their lifetime. As a fully licensed financial adviser, I am able to source the best insurance package for my clients. These are selected from a wide range of providers and are best tailored to meet client needs both now and into the future.
I guarantee a personalised and quality service, by ensuring the interests of clients come first. I build on a foundation of integrity, trust and professionalism.
My Own Insurance Story
It was just 15 years ago that my wife Kym and I first had our own adviser review our existing insurance covers. We found our existing policies were dated & lacked enhancements that many new policies had for the same price. At that time we added Trauma cover which we quickly became very grateful for!
Just 14 months later I had a heart event resulting in three weeks off work. I received a full payout of my Trauma cover within that three weeks - something that really helped us at the time.
As an Adviser, I also learned that insurance premiums could be levelled! This quickly became the niche I specialise in - I now help others save money in their premiums over time while remaining well covered.

Like Mark, I have a lifetime working in Education. I bring the skills from years of teaching and being a school Principal, to this business.
Since joining Mark I have formalised our business structures and processes, and brought on board a business coach to help us develop business even further.
It has been great working with our clients to ensure that we save them so much in their insurances. Mark and I share this vision strongly. We both had watched our parents have to cut insurances away due to extreme cost increases, and just when they needed it most.
Both Mark and I enjoy working with Insurance clients to review and save them as much money as possible. We work closely and individually with clients, structuring their cover to meet their household budgets and saving them thousands in future premiums.
One client has saved 1.2 million dollars in future premiums and will have personal protection insurance well into their older age!
Most clients save between $200,000 and $500,000 over the lifetime of their cover.
I also optimise KiwiSaver for clients. Most are losing a lot of their potential investment through not being structured correctly. It’s a passion of mine to see clients’ eyes widen as they realise what they can earn in their investment without doing anything differently going forward.
